He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Hamer; and his brother Dennis Hamer. He is survived by: his son Logan; his grandchildren, Tucker, Rylee and Grant; his mother Fran DeMarce (Ken); and his stepsiblings, Kayla Paulson (Bryce) and Kip DeMarce (Nikki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel (1221 1st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories (1221 1st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Metco Credit Union 115 8th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 for David.
