He is survived by: his wife Doris Gommels; his children, Debbie Kitt (Al), Dawn Thomas (Mike), Glen Gommels (Christi) and Drenda Curtis (Scott); his grandchildren, Trevor Thomas (Cara), Whitney Hinz (Matt), Amanda Cooling (Jeff), Renae Finley (James), Sarah Mielke (Terry), Kayla Kitt, Taylor Gommels, Gage Gommels, Ashlyn Gommels, Demetria Buenting, Tiera Miller (Cody), Kristen Rogers (Josh) and Zain Curtis; and his sisters, Shirley Brown (Bob) and Joyce Ness. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
