Darlene Kenison Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 93, Darlene Kenison of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Anthon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Darlene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Darlene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Ripple and Faye Ripple (Harman); her son Charles Kenison; and her sister Corrine Stevenson. She is survived by: her husband Jack Kenison of Cedar Rapids, IA; her son Bruce Kenison of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Jami Jones (Harold) of Cedar Rapids, Kelli Kenison of Cedar Rapids, IA and Margie Fleming (Michael) of California; and her great grandchildren, Nora and Edie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Mercy.
