He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sargent and Helen Sargent; his wife Eileen Klosterman; and his in-laws, Michael Bergan, Janice Lammers (James), Lary Klosterman and Gary Klosterman.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sargent (Kris), Steve Sargent (Jeanina), Linda Joerger (Steve) and Brian Sargent; his grandchildren, Matt Sargent (Kristin), Kelsie Sargent, Liz Sargent, Jill Joerger, Anna Joerger (Andrew LaFaver), Ellen Laughlin (Isaac), Ben Joerger and Sara Joerger; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Keegan Sargent; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Bergan and Ruth Klosterman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
