Clyde P. Straka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde P. Straka of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Marion, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred M. Kupka; his parents, Paul Straka and Libbie Straka (Vojt); and his siblings, Vera Kucera and Joseph Straka.
He is survived by: his daughter Madonna Schirm (Michael); his grandchildren, Christopher Schirm (Jessica) and Sarah Avery (Benjamin); and his siblings, Donald Straka (Judy), Darlene Lerch (Larry) and Marion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Saint Jude's Catholic Church and Xavier High School.
