Charles Wayne Pollock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Wayne Pollock of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pollock and Valley Pollock (McDaniel); and his siblings, JoAnn Snipes and Riley McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Pollock; his daughter Julie Rae Goepferd (Justin); his brother Eugene Pollock; and his grandsons, Sam Goepferd, Theo Goepferd and Gus Goepferd.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established in Charles' name.
