It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Leitheiser (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Locken and Eileen Locken (Konze). She is survived by: her husband Louis Leitheiser; her children, Kim Greene (Dennis) and Troy Leitheiser (Cathy); her grandchildren, Jacob Scadden, Alexa Greene, Tasha Greene, Leah Greene, Katelyn Leitheiser and Trevor Leitheiser; and her siblings, Gerene Safranski and Mary Lynn Gerber.
A reception was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Papich Kuba Funeral Service (1228 2nd St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401).
