She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Brown and Charlene Brown (Crozier); her former husband Marty Martin; her son Paul Martin; and her grandson Seth Rutledge.

She is survived by: her spouse Mearl Martin (Marty); her children, Mark Martin (Becky) of Kearney, MO and Dawn Rutledge of Vinton, IA; her grandson Sean Rutledge of Palo, IA; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Caiden, Ryder and Aunalee.

Memorials if desired may be made to Cedar Valley Humane Society or Country House Cedar Rapids Memorial Fund.
