She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Zakaib; her sisters, Josephine Mrad, Kay Thomassen (Bruce), Ruth Hashim (George) and Jennie; and her nephew-in-law Byron Knestrick.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Lisa Reynolds (Bill), Dawn Knestrick, Denise Hashim (Brian Cranmore), Dina Hashim, Nicole Thomas, Danielle Smith (Virgel), Todd Thomassen, Jay Thomassen (Patricia) and Ed Thomas (Angie).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. George Orthodox Church (3650 Cottage Grove Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. George Orthodox Church.
