With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benne Lee Rolfs of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Howard Rolfs, Edna Miller (Ted) and Elinor Jensen (Ken); and his parents, Harvey Rolfs and Ellen Rongstad Rolfs.
He is survived by: his children, Melyssa Barbone (Andrew), Kevin Rolfs and Brian Rolfs; his grandsons, Timothy and Alex Barbone; his stepdaughter Jennifer Hem (Bill); his granddaughters, Kimberly Hem and Katherine Hem; his stepdaughter Jeanne Guynn; his granddaughter Samantha Sawyer; his great grandchild Iris Huffman; his sister Lois Rolfs; his sister-in-law Toby Rolfs; and his former wife Kathy O'Brien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
