She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome; her grandson Ian Austin; and her father Harry "Ben" Rurup. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Gaffney (Tom), Chris Austin (Rick), Karen Bolt (Bob), Anne Venditti (Tracy), Rose Kremer (John), Dee Crum (George), Pat Sweeney, Mary Brown (Jim), Dan Sweeney (Rosie) and Steve Sweeney (Ann); and her mother Helen Raatz Rurup. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
