With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Peet of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Merrifield and Lillian Merrifield (Donda); her husband John "Jack" Peet; her son Steven Peet; and her brother Louis Merrifield.
She is survived by: her children, John Peet (Cindy) of Fairfax, Linda Peet of Cedar Rapids, Jean Arthurs (Jim) of Robins and Jackie Ness of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Dustin Peet (Delanie) of Cedar Rapids, Derek Peet (Megan) of Hiawatha, Jim Arthurs of Robins, Mike Arthurs (Amber) of Cedar Rapids, Amy Arthurs of Palo, Rachel Ness of San Diego, CA and Molly Ness of Eau Claire, WI; her great grandchildren, Tatum, Antin, Gibson Peet, MJ Arthurs and Ryan Berg; her sister-in-law Karen Moser (Len) of Mansfield, TX; and her cousin Cheryl Corrigan (Dale) of Bettendorf. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
