He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Jacob Jr. and Margaret Van Wyk (Van Dusseldorp); his wife Kay Van Wyk; and his brother Gary Van Wyk. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Van Wyk (Diane) of Cedar Rapids and Doug Van Wyk (Tracy) of Clarion; his grandchildren, Amanda Davis (Ryan), Marissa Ackerson (Gabe), Karissa Lockhart, Spencer Van Wyk (Allyson), Hunter Van Wyk, Makenna Van Wyk, Zoey Green and Drake Green; his great grandchildren, Kelly, Ashlynn, Briar, Aubree, Rohan, Beckett and Aniyah; his sister Maxine Cowman; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Olson (Kathy) and Val Olson (Elaine Anderson). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
