In the sacred silence of farewell, Allen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Allen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Heefner and Fae Heefner. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Heefner; his son Brian Heefner (Angel) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his stepson Perry White (Dalene) of Leawood, Kansas; and his stepmother Darlene Heefner of Hiawatha.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Springville Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Al's name to Springville Methodist Church, Springville, Iowa; Mercy Hospice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa or Northbrook Care Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
