He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Klein (Alan) and Mary Klein (Smith); his daughter Linda Klein; and his brothers, Jim and Jack Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda McGowen of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Father Donald Klein of Marion, Joan Cassen of Schleswig, Beth Rupp of Des Moines and Sister Ann Klein of Des Moines; and his mother-in-law Nadine Heart of Cedar Rapids.
