She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pieart and Fern Pieart (Lienhard); her husband Ralph L Pender; her daughter Rebecca Sale; and her siblings, Edward, Rolin Pieart and Edna McCoy.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey of Cedar Falls; and her grandchildren, Adam Pender (Kerri), Daniel Sale (Erin) of Waterloo, Jeffrey Sale of Stamford, CT, Bailey, Brooklyn Pender, Jude, Ellery Sale, Caleb and Devin Eaton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Evangelical Lutheran Church (7401 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (7601 Fleur Dr, Des Moines, IA 50321).
