He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Simcox (Ned) and Mildred Smith Simcox; and his sons, David Sr. and Steven. He is survived by: his wife Janet Heaton; his daughter Sandy Simcox Thomas; his grandchildren, Brett Billman, Amy Negley, Matthew Simcox (Maravil) and David Simcox Jr.; his great grandchildren, Christian Kafer and Marlee Negley; and his great great grandchild Brynnleigh Kafer.
