She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Cederburg and Effie Helm Cederburg; her husband Richard "Dick" Ackerman; her stepmother Mabel Cederburg; her son Bruce Steven Ackerman; her brother Richard "Dick" Cederburg; her son-in-law Jim Sorensen; and her parents-in-law, John and Emma Akerman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sorensen of Dubuque, Susan Frick (Randy) of Ashland, OR and Rick Ackerman (Juanita) of Collinsville, OK; her grandchildren, Scott Sorensen (April) of Denver, CO, Karen Vander Broek (Nate) of Fort Collins, CO, Rebecca Allen of Columbia, MO and Jennifer Williams (Jacob) of Collinsville, OK; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Elias Vander Broek, Logan, Pearl Allen, Harper, Ryan and Aria Williams; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Ackerman of Dysart and Jim Bachman of Hazelton.
