He is survived by: his parents, Tony Ward and Renae Ward of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Nick Ward of Cedar Rapids and Brandi Fadiga (Dustin) of Cedar Falls; his nieces and nephews, Cade of Cedar Falls, Brady of Cedar Falls, Mackenzie of Cedar Falls and Carter of Cedar Falls; his grandparent Robert Ward of Cedar Rapids; his aunts, Darla Michalec Paxton (Ken) of Fairfax, Connie Miller (Richard) of Rowley and Jane Remington (Bob) of Henderson, NV; his uncle Robert Ward, Jr. (Laura) of Mundelein, IL; and his close friend Matt Nelson (Karen) of Cedar Rapids.
Memorial donations may be directed toward the family and a donation in Shawn's honor will be made to a charity of their choice.
