With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Andrew Wilkin of Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shawn Andrew departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shawn Andrew. Though Shawn Andrew may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Michael; and his uncles, James, David Wilkin and Edward Schoenfeld. He is survived by: his children, Marena, Cameron and Carson Wilkin; and his parents, Truman Wilkin and Romaine Wilkin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
