It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Schipper (Cedar Falls, Iowa), born in New Hartford, Iowa, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Grandon and Evelyn Grandon (Sells); her husband Andy; her siblings, Dorothy Freeseman and James; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Grandon.

She is survived by: her children, Lana Elson (Charles) of Rochester, MN and Bart Schipper (Lucy) of Cedar Falls; her grandsons, Andrew of Cedar Falls, Noah of Cedar Falls, Nathan of Cedar Falls and Joshua Schipper of Cedar Falls; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Freeseman of Cedar Falls and Jessie Peters of Aplington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
