He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin LeRoy and Wilma Ruth Pedersen (Skene); his daughter Susan Kaye Pedersen; and his stepparents, Loretta Pedersen and Wilfred Clark.
He is survived by: his spouse Rae Ann Heerkes; his children, Michael Thomas Pedersen of Caladonia, MN, Andrew Ronald Pedersen of Waterloo, Nicholas Ryan Pedersen (Peace) of Cedar Falls and Katherine Therese Pedersen (Brant Warneka) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Zachary Hoppenworth-Pedersen, Devon Dyer, Gavin Mapes, Kadence Pedersen-Warneka and Asher Pedersen; his great grandchild Lincoln Hoppenworth; and his siblings, Linda Ladd (Tom) of Des Moines, Christina Wendel of Waterloo and Stephen Pedersen of Texas.
Memorials may be directed to the church's piano fund or the Cedar Falls AMVETS Honor Guard.
