He is survived by: his wife Jane Pepperling-Preece; his children, Timothy Preece of Waterloo, Steven Pepperling of Cedar Falls, Michael Preece of Dubuque, Bradley Preece of Evansdale, Khaled Aljohar (Cassie) of Rochester, Minnesota, Mikal Pepperling (September), Dakoda Pepperling (Leigha) of Evansdale and Gabrielle Pepperling of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Emma Preece, Evelyn Preece, Nora Aljohar, Rainah Pepperling and Asad Aljohar; his siblings, James C. Preece of Jackson, David Preece (Lisa), Jerry Preece (Robert Preece) of Cedar Falls and Janine Preece of Cedar Falls; his stepsiblings, James Ackles, Scott Ackles, Robbie Ackles and Tammy Boyer of Cedar Falls; and his mother-in-law Suzanne Salsbury. He is also survived by aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
