Roger Allen Zimmerman Obituary

We bid farewell to Roger Allen Zimmerman of Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Roger Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Zimmerman and Ethel Zimmerman (Young); and his grandson Dawson Kerr. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Spangler; his children, Todd Zimmerman of Exeland, Troy Zimmerman (Amy) of Grimes, Lisa Smith (Jeff) of Urbandale and Lori Kerr (Dan) of Johnston; his grandchildren, Paige, Lauren, Kailey (James), Tallie, Zachary, Makayla and Eleanor; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Stella, Hunter and Jeremiah; and his brother Ron Zimmerman (Terre). He is also survived by friends, neighbors.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nazareth Lutheran Church (7401 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Greenwood Cemetery N. College (404 N College St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
