He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Crawford and Caroline Douglas (Sands); his wife Frances Edwards; his daughter Susan Risse; his brother William Douglas (Lorraine); his sons-in-law, Terry Flynn and David Harvey Byerly III; and his great grandchild Robert Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Flynn of Cornelius, NC and Karen Byerly of Exton, PA; his grandchildren, Kiersten Malo, Jessica Poppe (Alex), Bryan Byerly, Lisa Miller (Larry), Christine Platt (Jerry) and Matthew Flynn; his great grandchildren, Sean Miller (Taylor), Dane Hallberg, Jason Flynn and Tabitha Flynn; and his great great grandchildren, Kaylin Hallbert, Connor Miller and Anya Miller.
