He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl Koontz (Dowden) and Onis Koontz; his brother Martin; and his parents-in-law, Charles M., Elizabeth Ager, May Ager, Carl Lucas, Janet, Stan Westendorf, Chuck, Jean Ager, Jerry Long, David Ager, Wesley Lucas and Kolton Westendorf.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Ager (Bea); his son Jason (Todd Linscott) of Rock Island, IL.; his brother Jan; and his parents-in-law, Ted Ager, Dorothy Lucas, Bev Ager, Anne, Derril Boerschel, Alma Long, Krista and Denny Meyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Those in attendance are required to wear a mask, should bring a lawn chair and dress casually.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Friends of Cedar Falls Public Library, St. John Lutheran Church (Cedar Falls), or Cedar Bend Humane Society.
