He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herman and Mildred Marie Gutknecht (Shepard). He is survived by: his children, Callie Henrichs (Jeff) of Story City and Patrick Gutknecht of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Mari Henrichs (Ben Tidgren), Gabi Henrichs (Aaron Funke) and Caden Henrichs; and his siblings, Marlene Stricker of Cedar Falls, Donald Gutknecht (Lee Ann) of Grimes, Marilyn Christie (Bob) of St. Charles, MN, Robert Gutknecht (Diane) of Otter Tail, MN and Lynda Miller (Larry) of Cedar Falls.
