She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Rowland and Delores Rowland (Melton). She is survived by: her son Kurt Meyermann of Cedar Falls; her sisters, Marsha Eilers and Christine Rowland Smith; her sister-in-law Linda Meyermann; and her cousins, Brad Thorton, Brian Thorton and Becky Thorton Rudarmel. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Hearst Center for the Arts in Cedar Falls.
