He was predeceased by: his father Robert Brietske; and his brother Edwin Brietske. He is survived by: his mother Gayle Brietske (Hoyle); his wife Nanci Le Behrens; his daughters, Shelly Freet (John) of Grundy Center, Cindy Mitchell (David) of Cedar Falls and Becky Foss (Kelly) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Dan, Tim, Taylor, Erin, Nadaley, Collin, Cooper, Sam, Jake, Jordan, Gabby and Jaxon; and his siblings, Daniel Brietske (Teresa) of Texas, Jean Brietske of Cedar Falls, Trina Brietske of Des Moines and Brenda Hemming (Tim) of Minnesota. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
