It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Hammers of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Donald Pisney; and her husband Terry Hammers. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Pisney (Justin); her brother Ed Pisney (Karen); her nephews, Samuel, Nathan and Zachary Pisney; her niece Abigail; her uncle Bob; her aunt Sherrie Justin; and her cousin Becky Marinelli (Ron).

“Dear Family and Friends of Pam, My heart has been heavy over the last few weeks. After learning that she placed herself into hospice. I first met Pam at a fund raiser called Bar for Life, it was to help raise funds for cancer. Over the last year I worked for her as her house cleaner. I am so sorry to hear of her recent death. She was very quiet about her illness and I never knew how much she must have been struggling !! My heart is so saddened by her passing. She was a wonderful caring friend”
