He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Lemmon and Irene Lemmon (Miner); his son James; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his wife Kay Ellann Jones of Hawkeye; his son Mike (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Andrea, Julia and Allison of Clive; and his brother Duane Lemmon of Detroit Lakes, MN.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Evangelical Lutheran Church (7401 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hawkeye Cemetery (21260 Quarter Rd, Hawkeye, IA 52147).
