He is survived by: his parents, Michael James Ungs, Sr. (Laura) of Independence, IA and Charlean Marie Ungs (Hepler) of Jesup; his former wife Tamara K. Johnson; his children, Hunter Ungs of Waterloo, Emma of Waterloo, Natalie Ungs of Waterloo and Alexis Ungs of Waterloo; his sister Danielle Ungs of Evansdale; his stepsisters, Lisa King (Jimmy Connell) of Waterloo and Lyndie Decker of Hudson; his half-siblings, Ben Ungs of Denver, CO and Emily Ungs of Waterloo; and his grandmother Norma "MawMaw" Hepler of Evansdale. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
