She was predeceased by: her parents, Sievert VanHauen and Jennie VanHauen (Engelkes); her husband Chris Bolhuis; and her siblings, LaVern VanHauen, Lorraine Reiken (Tony), Leona Van Lengen (Verne) and Marie Jane VanHauen.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Bolhuis (Shirley Kohler) of Waterloo, Shirley Lamprecht (Walter) of Waterloo and Cindy Anderson (Rod) of Waterloo; and her sister-in-law Beverly VanHauen. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Orchard Hill Church (3900 Orchard Hill Dr, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (3900 Orchard Hill Dr, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
