She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Carney and Margaret Carney. She is survived by: her husband Neil Clapp of Cedar Falls; her children, Mark of Cedar Falls and Carrie Hill (Matthew) of Flat Rock, NC; her grandson Justin Timpany (Melissa); her great grandchild Logan of Cowley, WY; and her sister Kay Braun (Bob). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Western Home Foundation, First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls, or a charity of choice.
