She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schmid and Evelyn Schmid (Graves); her husband Nyle Schelle of Joseph's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Joseph, Jerome, Angela and Regina.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanine LaBreck of Colton, SD, Gerry Schelle of Storm Lake, IA and Laurie McCallum (Curt) of Cedar Falls, IA; her grandchildren, Brandie Davidson of Ft. Worth, TX and Nikolaus McCallum (Sheila) of Waterloo, IA; her great grandchild Draven; her sister Ramona Kaufman of Des Moines, IA; and her brother-in-law Ron Schelle (Pat) of Pfafftown, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
