She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Mendonca and Mary Mendonca (Fernandes); her husband Francis Costa; her son-in-law Joseph Alemao; and her siblings, Louie Mendonca (Jody), Barbara Jackson (Arlen) and Viola "Ode" Silva (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Luann Alemao-Johnson (Gary L. Johnson) of Cedar Falls and Bruce Costa (Teresa) of Parkersburg; her grandchildren, Andrew Alemao, Gareth Costa, Benjamin Costa, Garrett Johnson, Zach Johnson (Kristin) and Jessamyn Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Katherine, Rosalie Johnson and Jonas Duffy.
Memorials may be directed to the Western Home Foundation or Cedar Valley Hospice.
