He was predeceased by: his wife Dixie; his son Rodney; his parents, Keith Long and Violet Long; his brother Kenneth Long; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Shepard.

He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Collins (Greg) and Pamela Foland (Mike); and his grandchildren, Joshua Harper (Susie), Nicholas Long (Christina), Mikayla Foland (Zach), Brooke Foland (Matt), Brianna Long and Travis Long. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends.

All memorial donations will go to the American Heart Association.
