He was predeceased by: his wife Dixie; his son Rodney; his parents, Keith Long and Volet Long; his brother Kenneth Long; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Shepard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Collins (Greg) and Pamela Foland (Mike); and his grandchildren, Joshua Harper (Susie), Nicholas Long (Christina), Mikayla Foland (Zach), Brooke Foland (Matt), Brianna Long, Travis Long, Koen Tibbitts and Gehrig Tibbitts. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
All memorial donations will go to the American Heart Association.
