He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Cornelius and Marie Cornelius (Gelder); his wife Sue of Cedar Falls; his children, Kim Ross of Pilot Point, TX, Kandis Ciesielski (Mark) of Jesup and Marty Cornelius (Carol) of Cedar Falls; his stepchildren, Debbie Christian (Todd) of North Liberty and Brian DeVore of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Zoey, Randi, Alex, Kialee, Amanda, Jordan and Brock; his great grandchildren, Saleh and Toby; his siblings, Larry Cornelius of Kesley, Arleen Burkhardt (Jim) of Cedar Falls, Ardis Matson of Janesville, Darlys Dietrick (Jerry) of New Hartford and Frankie Knight of Cedar Falls; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Cornelius of Janesville and Steven Enlow (Mary Ann) of Bettendorf; and his siblings, Arnold Cornelius, Mary Ann Cornelius and Dorothy Patten. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
