She is survived by: her mother Joan Hines Torkelson of Waterloo; her former husband Adam Michels; her sons, Brandon Michels of Cedar Falls and Jordan Michels (Margaret Melton) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Alexzander, Spencer and Alice; and her siblings, Julie Turner of Dysart, Kari Torkelson (Becky) of Springfield, MO, Kim Cromer (Kent) of Marion and Alan Smith (Judy) of Cedar Falls.
