We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2023, at the age of 78, Linda Lea Smith of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Osage, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Lea Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lisa (Shelley) and Bethel Durby; and her stepfather Marlo Durby. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Schumacher of Steamboat Springs and Shelley Lauritsen (Ken) of Cedar Falls; her sibling Scout; her husband Dick (Dick); her son-in-law Ken; her grandchildren, Sam, Colt, Anna and Clay; her sister Mary B. Lehman of Marion; and her stepsiblings, Cindy Haugsdal (Craig), Trisha Dahl (Jerry) and Tony Durby (Leontine). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Alzheimer's took her far too soon, and we will miss her so much, but we also celebrate that she is free from her imperfect brain and body and home in Heaven with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
