It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Jernigan of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Dorough and Helen Dorough (Harris); and her husband Malcolm Lathon Jernigan. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Banks of Fort Worth, TX and Lesley Jernigan (Dave Hatcher) of Cedar Falls; her grandsons, Donavon Banks (Sein) of Fort Worth, TX and Sawyer Howe of Cedar Falls; and her sister Paula Dorough-Kahler (David) of Dallas, TX..
A reception was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
