With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Davis of Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Davis to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Linda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Linda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Zimmerman and Viola Zimmerman (Heidt); and her husband Wilbur A. "Bill" Davis. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Davis (Mary), William Davis (Billey) of Olathe, KS and Scott Davis (Debi) of Overland Park, KS; and her stepchildren, Colin Davis-Weist (Don) of Vernal, UT and Deborah McClintock (Bruce) of Watertown, WI. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren (6227 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
