He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Small and Averil Small (Casteel); his son Larry; and his siblings, Beulah Bride, Louise Arter and LaRue Small.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys (Bixby); his children, Jerry L. Small of Waterloo, Debby Andrews (Steve) of Center Point, Sherryl Sweeney (Mike) of Vicenza and Lori Shubert (Steve) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Kyle Andrews (Missy), Brandon Andrews, Alexandra Brady (Joe) and Jessica Wiggins (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Mila and Keely Andrews.
