He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brown and Geraldine Brown Calvert (Rogers); and his daughter Jacki Brown. He is survived by: his wife Susan Peters of Year's Eve; his children, Bradley Brown (Stephanie), Daniel Brown (Shelly) and Denise Sears (Larry); his grandchildren, Ashley Swanson (Josh), Terri Packard (Noah), Shane Sears (Macie) and Rachael Sears; his sister Sheri Herman (Clayton); and his nephew Benjamin. He is also survived by 6 great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Nazareth Lutheran Church (7401 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Children's Haven International (400 E Minnesota Road, Pharr, Texas 78577).
