With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence J. Schumacher of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Lamont, Iowa, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christopher Schumacher and Berniece Schumacher (Brunkhorst); his former wife Rose Ott; his wife Lorraine Wright of Cedar Falls; his stepchildren, Denise Herron (Alan) of Palm Harbor, Lester Ott (Connie) of Jesup, Mark Ott (Charlene) of Denver, Linda Schrage (Clint) of Waverly and Lorna Van Natta (Sean) of Readlyn; his brothers, LaVern Schumacher (Pat) of Alden, IA and George Schumacher of Waterloo; and his stepdaughter Mary Ott. He was also cherished by nine step grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
