He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Maas and Carol Maas (Vossberg); and his siblings, Bobby Maas, Karon Tosh and Peggy Boorom.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Refshauge; his daughters, Deanna Ryan (Jeff) of Waterloo and Denise Maas of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Madisen Shepard (Nick), Cameron Ryan (Cierra), Ethan Ryan (Holly), Madelynn Maas and Eva Rous; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Callen, Wren, Willa and Pyper; and his brothers, Fred of Waterloo and Alan Maas of Waterloo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (718 Clay St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
