He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. "Larry" Sr. Gross and Rose Gross (Rascher); his daughter Dolores Gross; and his grandson Dylan Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Gross of Cedar Falls; his children, Larry Gross III of Garner, Jerod Gross (Erin) of Port Charlotte, FL and Laura Meyer of O'Fallon, MO; his grandchildren, Ryan Gross, Rachel Gross, Reece Gross, Erik Meyer, Kale Meyer, Jackie Meyer, Randy Meyer and Kristyn Suggs (Jordan); his great grandchild Kole Suggs; and his brother William "Bill" Gross (Christine) of Punta Gorda, FL..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (705 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
