She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Schnabel and Lucia Schnabel (Sweier); her husband George Brubaker; and her siblings, Gerhard, Manferd and Lieslotte Schnabel.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Lund (John), Cindy Brubaker (Denise Nass), Jennifer Thompson (Jason) and Mike Brubaker (Laura); and her sisters, Hilde Wick and Herta Bradshaw. She is also survived by four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
