With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Edward Haugen of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Cresco, Iowa, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karl Edward Haugen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Haugen and Marie Haugen (Anderson); his siblings, Daniel Haugen, Wallace Haugen, John Haugen (Cyrilla), Willis Haugen, Davis Haugen, Leone Roberson (Orville) and Joanne Sheehy (Joe); his nephew Bruce Sheehy; his niece Judy Lind (Jackson); and his brother-in-law Robert Jackson.

He is survived by: his sister Nancy Jackson; his close friend Charlotte Thomas of Cedar Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Haugen, Bernie Lahr and Joyce Haugen. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
