She is survived by: her children, Michelle Cook (Randy) of Hudson, Lisa Niedert of Waterloo and Michael Niedert of Cedar Falls; her grandsons, Aaron Cook (Breana) and Michael Johnson Niedert Jr.; her great grandchildren, Dakota, Colton and Rylee Cook; her siblings, Dennis Knight (Linda) of Urbandale, Randy Knight (Roberta) of Bondurant, Sharon Poffenberger (Richard) of Bondurant and Jennifer Leila Sylvester of Glendale, Arizona.; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Niedert of Hudson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Timothys United Methodist Church (3220 Terrace Dr, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Memoires Cemetery (3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Timothys UMC or the Cedar Falls Woman's Club.
